The AT&T Universal Platinum Card is not for everyone: it's for those with a good credit history.  If you have maintained your credit accounts well over time and have built up a reliable credit history, there are rewards that await you.  One of those rewards is the AT&T Universal Platinum Card.  Take advantage of the bonus offers available to you for handling your finances in a responsible manner.

To begin with, the AT&T Universal Platinum Card has no annual fee and a 0% APR (annual percentage rate) introductory offer for balance transfers.  This introductory rate is valid for 12 months.  You can take advantage of this offer to combine other higher interest rate credit card bills or other expenses you have accumulated to utilize this 0% APR offer for 12 months.  This can save you a tremendous amount of money in interest and help you, through wise financial management, to pay off your debts sooner.  (This special 0% APR introductory rate does not include purchases or cash advances.)

After your AT&T Universal Platinum Card application is approved, you can request a balance transfer kit to help you get started transferring your higher rate balances.  Simply call the toll free customer service number.  (Please note that you cannot use the balance transfer option to pay off balances with other AT&T or Citibank affiliated bank cards.)

Your low everyday APR is currently an 11.81% variable rate.  A variable rate means your APRs can change, perhaps monthly.  The AT&T Universal Platinum Card uses The Wall Street Journal to find the LIBOR rate to calculate your variable APR.  The LIBOR rate (London InterBank Offered Rate) is an average rate quote that companies use to help calculate APR for business transactions.  The AT&T Universal Platinum Card uses the LIBOR rate plus 6.49% to calculate purchases and balance transfer options.  The APR for cash advances is the LIBOR rate plus 17.99%, with a minimum of 19.99%.  The current APR for cash advances is 23.31% but you will need to check all the account details at the time of application.
